Merry Christmas

A busy week in P5/6!

Welcome to P5/6 (2022/23)

Ice cream day!

Jubilee Day!

There was great excitement in the P5, P6 and P7 classes early this week as it was Pancake Tuesday. The toasters went in to overdrive as over 110 pancakes were toasted and given out. All the classes took turns in 'designing' their own pancake toppings. These ranged from the traditional lemon and sugar to much more creative versions which included marshmallows, chocolate sauce and jam!

P5/6 Learning from Home

Parents and pupils of P5/6,

Please collect your home learning pack from school tomorrow between 11am and 4pm. This contains this week's home learning guidance and resources; I have also uploaded these onto the school's website. Please read the guidance document and the information sheet on spellings and reading. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Miss S :)

Hi P5/6,

I hope that you all had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed some family time over the school break. I am disappointed that we won't be able to see each other in school this week and I look forward to catching up with you soon.

This week, you will continue your learning at home. I will post work for you each day on the school website and through Seesaw. You were given a copy of your login details last term and I can see that many of you have accessed our class page successfully. Each morning, please refer to the guidance document uploaded onto the class page. Any necessary PowerPoints can also be accessed through the class page on the school's website.

I would encourage as many of you as possible to use Seesaw; this is a good opportunity for you all to familiarise yourselves with the site. However, if you experience difficulty in accessing / navigating Seesaw, simply use the school website.

Instructions for Tuesday 5th January can be found on the guidance documents that I have uploaded below.

Enjoy a productive week of learning from home,

Miss Sharratt :)

Parents and pupils of P5/6,

Thank you so much for the lovely cards and generous gifts / vouchers; I really appreciate your kindness and cannot wait to use them. We look forward to welcoming you all back to school in August but for now, enjoy the summer break and have lots of fun with your families.

Stay safe,

Miss Sharratt :)

Parents,

Please call into school between 9am and 2pm on Wednesday or Thursday of this week to collect your child's belongings. Please also return the NHM textbook provided by school and any reading books, or other school resources, that your child may have at home.

Thank you,

E Sharratt
