• Santa Visits APS!

  All classes enjoyed a visit from Santa today at the outdoor KS2 classroom.  Please view further photos in the 'Class Pages' section of the website. 

  

• Outdoor Carol Singing

  Well done to our school choir who performed six well known Christmas Carols to a 'live audience!' It was lovely to have parents in the school grounds (socially distanced) for this event.

• FS & KS1 Christmas Dinner

  FS & KS1  pupils thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas Dinner today with Christmas songs playing in the background. Pupils enjoyed a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings and ice-cream for dessert. Our PTA kindly donated a packet of sweets and a bar of chocolate for each pupil. Please see the Gallery Section for the full range of photos!

  

• P1-P7 Christmas Performance Photos!

  Well done to all pupils in P1-P7 for putting on fantastic performances today! We are extremely proud of each and every one of you. Please see the Video Resource Centre, under the Children's Tab to enjoy 6 videos.

  Many thanks to teachers and classroom assistants for all their hard work over the last few weeks, rehearsing with the children. A huge thanks also to Isaac and Harriet Walker, our two Stage Managers. A word of thanks also to our stage hands, our Acting Building Supervisor and our School Secretary for the 'behind the scenes' support.

• Christmas Story Books

  All pupils from Primary 1 to Primary 7 received Christmas colouring-in books from Colin Tinsley, Hope for Youth Ministries. I am sure the children will enjoy using them in school or at home.

  

• The Santa Daily Mile

  All classes braved the chilly weather to participate in the Santa Daily Mile.

  Well done to all pupils, teachers and classroom assistants.

• After School Football

  Well done to all our pupils who participated in after school football sessions. Pupils were presented with completion certificates by their coach, Sam.

  

• Choir Performance

  A huge well done to the School Choir who put on a great performance for the Lisburn and Castlereagh's Borough Council Virtual Light Switch-on on 19 November 2021.
