  • Please use the pedestrian gate

    Mon 16 Sep 2024

You may have seen a 'new' way of entering and exiting the school being introduced today. In preparation for introduction of the new traffic lights and also due to a few 'near misses' we are asking all pupils and parents to use the pedestrian gate and not the main gate for coming in and leaving school. As you can see from the poster attached ( a larger version can be found HERE ) if the pupils cross behind the pillar and through the main gate there is a blind spot created where they can't be seen. We have many more staff with different working hours and we want all the pupils to be as visible as possible for as long as possible. I have also asked staff and deliveries etc, to avoid times when pupils are entering and leaving school. The pupils have been out today practising so we hope it will become embedded in the routine in no time at all.
