P3 2021-2022
Hello and welcome to the P3 class page!

We got to see and handle some little chicks that were only 3 days old. They were so cute!

World Book Day photos - the boys and girls in P3 enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters 😀
On Pancake Tuesday the boys and girls in P3 helped Mrs Cunningham to make some delicious pancakes!
On Monday 20th December Santa Claus visited Anahilt Primary School and the boys and girls in P3 were very excited to see him!
The boys and girls in P3 have enjoyed making some Christmas crafts! 🌲
Daily Mile Santa Style!
Anti-Bullying activity. In P3 we listened to the story 'Tyrannasauras Drip' by Julia Donaldson. We discussed how the feelings of the dinosaurs relates to real situations and what it means to be kind. We then discussed and wrote about different ways that we can show kindness to others.
The boys and girls in P3 enjoyed wearing their odd socks at the start of Anti-Bullying Week.
At our Harvest Day we had great fun making chocolate apples, watching a pumpkin getting carved and doing some pumpkin artwork. We also sang a Harvest song and listened to a story called 'The Fantastic Pumpkin '.
In Maths P3 have being using non standard units such as counters, cubes, paper clips and dominoes to measure different lengths.

We brought in 5 items to talk about. We shared some information about ourselves with Mrs Purdy and the rest of the class. We learnt a lot about each other and found it very interesting! Here are some photographs showing what we brought in and shared with our class.

On Friday 11th December we had a Christmas Jumper Day in school. P3 had a fanastic fun filled day!
We made some Dancing Santas!
On Thursday 3rd December Santa Claus came to visit our school. The boys and girls in P3 were very excited!
