Very well done to Madana and Ava from P7 who attained 2nd place (out of 10) in the Environmental Youth Speak Competition, which was held at the Civic Centre in Lisburn this week.
The girls had 6 weeks to research and deliver an inspiring talk on “How to be a Binfluencer.”
The duo act worked hard to perfect their platform manner, presence and the overall impact of their presentation. Their voice projection, delivery and content were of a very high standard and they clearly impressed the judging panel.
They received £30 each as a prize and were ‘treated’ to breakfast, lunch and some recyclable merchandise.
Congratulations! #2nd Place 🙂

Our P7 Road Safety Team came 1st in the Lisburn & Castlereagh area heat recently which secured them a place in the finals last night in Cookstown. 210 primary schools entered the competition and 22 teams made it through to the final.
We are pleased to announce that our team came 2nd! Each child was presented with a large silver medal and the team received a shield. 2nd place was an AMAZING result and staff and pupils are delighted.
The team have revised very hard over the last 6 weeks and they know the Highway Code and road signs “inside out!”
Huge congratulations Sam, Madana, Korey and Ben.
