Welcome to the latest News for 2023 - 2024. Here you will find updates from the day to day activities happening in school.
P5 Pupil, Henry, and his dad recently won 1st prize as the 'Best Dressed' males at this year's Balmoral Show. Congratulations Henry!
Wednesday 18th May saw Anahilt take to the field for their first Kwik Cricket experience for a number of years. Led by TJ, we arrived at Derriaghy Cricket Club confident that the afterschool practices we had been having would pay off and we would give the best account of ourselves despite being the ‘new boys.’ After initial successes things looked promising but then we lost narrowly in the top 4 qualifier to a strong Pond Park team. Wallace Prep were also too strong for our boys who fought really hard and kept the scores close. The day finished with a cracking game against Ballymacash where it went down to the last ball and we were just pipped at the post. A great day out where the boys represented us well, developed some new skills, enjoyed the day and most importantly got (at least one) ice cream on the way home!
Well done to those pupils who received their 'Pupil of the Week' certificates.
The whole school community would like to wish Miss Sharratt and her fiancé, past pupil Chris Hanna, all the best for their upcoming wedding day. She leaves us today as Miss Sharratt and returns after Easter as Mrs Hanna. She got the traditional Anahilt treatment today in assembly. See photos below......
Well done to those who got a special mention in this week's assembly for 'Fair Play'.
Well done to those pupils who got a special mention in Assembly for their manners!
We celebrate a great achievement by our P1 pupil Eli who won the Boys' Brigade Northern Ireland Shield Colouring Competition.
Well done everyone!
