World Book Day
We had some visitors in to school today. They ranged from Mary Poppins, Wally, Mr Strong, Pinocchio and even Harry Potter himself. It was of course World Book Day and great fun was had by all. There were various activities around the classrooms, a live lesson for P5/6/7 with famous people reading book extracts online and a parade around the school playground by all pupils to showcase their efforts. Well done to everyone – it was a wonderful day. Some of the staff managed to get their photo taken at the end of the school day. Mrs Nelson ( Cowgirl ) and Mrs Cunningham ( Little Miss Late ) were spared the embarrassment !
