A final word from Mr Reid.
Hi everyone, just a quick note to say I had a lovely time last Thursday at our outdoor assembly where all the boys and girls gave me a great send-off. There were books of memories, pictures, the recital of a lovely poem and of course lots of lovely gifts. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to my gifts, I was genuinely overwhelmed. I am looking forward (as is my wife!) to using the very generous vouchers for the Pheasant restaurant and the Hastings Hotel group. However, the fun didn’t stop there, as last Friday evening I had a delightful meal out with the staff and governors where yet again I was moved by their generosity and kind farewells.
I have many happy memories of leading Anahilt PS over the past five years and I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. I wish my successor, the staff, pupils, parents, PTA and governors every success in the years to come.
